My favourite time of the year in our coastal city has to be summer. We love having visitors from out of town in the store and hearing of your adventures in Powell River. There is so much nature to enjoy and outdoor activities to fill your adventurous side of life. The beaches, such as Mahhoods and Donkersley, are a must see and experience in my books. The Sunshine Coast trail can be broken into day trips and 1/2 day hikes for those who want just a little time in the shade of the beautiful grand forests. A quick drive from town and you will be able to find great lakes to swim and tent. Duck lake and Haslam lake are always fun for quick dips.
